Winzy has been very shady lately.

They had some of their "offer" partners back away from them, and they switch things around without letting their users know about it. Not even a simple email. Some users got word from "Winzy" through the question and answer part of the site (similar to Yahoo Answers), where a couple of users who claimed to work for Winzy went on and talked down to people who criticized Winzy.

Also, looking at their website traffic, it has only gone downhill in the past couple of months. This is a great example of what poor customer service could do to a company. Good riddance.

Finally, there were a couple of months where even if you randomly "won" a giftcard, it wasn't sent to you. Again, there was no reason given, and all emails ignored. It does go to mention that this seems to have been fixed, however.

Try a better search and win site that doesn't have so many problems and actually gives you giftcards in a timely manner.

Wow, Winzy is such a joke.

They say some comments that are being posted are misinformation, and then delete them and ban those users. Let's just go over those "misinformed" comments, shall we? Is there any truth to them?

1. Winzy hasn't given out prizes in over 5 months.

Truth. So far, as much as everyone else is saying, this is true. No one at all has said, "Woo! Got my prize!" or "You're wrong, I got my prize last week!"

2. Most of Winzy's partners have pulled themselves out of the site.

Truth. The proof is up there on the link that says "Offers". It is now a dead page. This could change in the future, but for right now, companies are starting to realize they don't want to be involved with fraud.

3. Winzy has not said anything to their users about the reason of the delays of prizes.

Truth, except for some "users" on the Q&A section who claim to work for Winzy. They answered a couple of questions, but who knows if it's the truth. They haven't sent emails, or even posted anything on the homepage. How do you know what's going on? They couldn't even respond when it seemed like half of the Questions were about Winzy's poor business tactics.

4. Winzy cannot take any criticism, but will bend when enough people complain.

Ok, this one is mostly speculation, but I'm sure many will agree with me. Winzy has not only deleted comments from users that go against Winzy, but they also banned those users from being able to use the Q&A section. However, they brought back points for searches when they lost lots of traffic and heard everyone complaining.

If enough of us complain, not only to Winzy, but also to the BBB and Winzy's business "partners" (Amazon, Apple), perhaps we can once again actually get prizes from them! Please spread the word NOT to use Winzy until we start getting those giftcard codes again.

All of the SPECIAL OFFERS jumped ship today because of the fraudelent nature of the site.

Apparently, Netflix, Discover Card, Credit.com, Disney, Barclays Bank (Black Visa Card), etc. -- were all notified by many members like you-- and have chosen to leave the site after less than a week.

Winzy has NOT actually delivered Amazon codes to its "winners" this calendar year. After December of last year, they stopped. Being months late on promised $5 Amazon codes is NOT acceptable. Meanwhile, points mean nothing. The last sweepstakes based on points was over six months ago (check the winners list for proof -- September 2008 was the last drawing).
